This is a lovely, pale Cava with plenty of fizz and plenty of personality.
Made from a blend of three grapes – Viura (60%), Parellada (30%) and Chardonnay (10%) – this sparkling wine is fresh, smooth, light with an extremely clean finish and has aromas of toast and ripened fruit.
It is ideal for aperitifs and any special occasion.

Founded in 1982, Mainegra winery produces 30,000 litres of Cava a year from its vineyards in the town of Mendavia in the Ribera Alta of Navarre. Mainegra Cava is protected by law as it is included under the Denomination of Origin Cava.
Mainegra Cava is produced using the champenoise method - just like Champagne - but the main difference between the two sparkling wines is the variety of grapes used. Cava is mainly made from macabeo, parellada and xarello grape varieties, whereas Champagne is made from pinot noir, pinot meunier and chardonnay.
Cava from the Basque Country rivals Italian Prosecco and French champagne in its crisp, dry taste and the quality of its tiny bubbles.
