Artajo
Rating

Box of 6 glass bottles of 250 ml of each variety of the Artajo10 range.

The early picking, from green olives, gives Artajo's best oils a fresh, herbaceous touch, with an intensity of exceptional green fruity aromas. In contrast, the amount of oil obtained from early olives is much less than in mature ones.

Therefore, to elaborate 1L of Artajo 10 some 10 kg of olives are necessary. It is recommended to use it raw, to finish dishes, or enjoy it on toast.
SUGGESTIONS
  • Arbequina: Vegetables and preparation of sauces (mayonnaise, alioli)

  • Koroneiki: Citrus, escarole salads and blue fish, like Bonito del Norte.

  • Manzanilla Cacereña: White fish, chocolate and asparagus.

  • Arbosana: Citrus and pastries

Description

The tradition of Artajo in the production of olive oil dates back to the 18th century, when in the historic centre of Tudela, Aceite Artajo was produced, starting from the fertile fields of the Ribera of Navarre.
After a parenthesis in production for 50 years in the s. XX, in the year 1998 the olive tradition is recovered, already focused on a modernized and sustainable agriculture, also maintaining the family character from the origins.
